i could use some brass knuckles...

Basics

Name/Nickname: Ailidh is my name but since joining the fandom I've collected a few nicknames, most common of them Hutch or Doc

Age: 17... 18 in less than a week.

Occupation: Full time badass and student. Mostly the student thing, though.

Likes: reading, writing, obsessing, coffee, chocolate, history, law, comedy shows, using the word "bro" in the most strange of circumstances, music (specifically that of the classic rock genre).

Dislikes: most people actually... i have problems with people, cats, homework, stupid people, bigotry or racism or what have you, people who complain, the smell of burnt toast, cereal, being too hot or too cold.

Strengths:
I'm intuitive, and kind-- and I tend to always make a really great first impression. I'm well likeable, and have a good handle on most subjects, so I guess you can consider me smarter than the average bear. On the flip side, I can be cunning and sharp tongued, and really... quite ruthless.

Weaknesses:
I'm lazy, and anti-social. I'm self-depreciating and self-abusive. I'm socially awkward, and pretty much a huge asshole, to be honest.

More In-depth

Introvert or extrovert?: Depends on the situation. But I'd say Extrovert

Hard Worker or layabout (or somewhere in between)?: Again, totally depends on the situation, but I'd say Layabout more often than not.

Are you the leader type?: I'm definitely more a leader than a follower, I have trouble with orders.

Are you adept at raising others' spirits?: I do pretty well, for my friends and those I care about.

Do you consider yourself popular?: No.

People who first meet you probably think you are: kind, and humorous.

How do you handle high-pressure situations?: Very well. I work best under pressure

Are you self-motivated, or do you rely on the encouragement of others?: Self-motivated. Encouragement from others does little for me.

Do you work through unpleasant situations for your own satisfaction, or to prove yourself to others?: Neither, really. I do them to get them over and done with so I can move on to satisfactory things xD

We Stand Alone Together

Your weekend pass has been revoked. What were you planning on using it for?: Probably nothing too special. Drinking, mostly... probably a lot of drinking, actually. And reading. Probably just quiet goofing around with friends.

You've been dropped into Normandy. You're all alone, it's pitch black, and there are Germans round every corner. How do you react? Who do you encounter on your trek to meet up with the rest of your battalion?: Check to see that all systems are go-- I need to see what sort of situation I've landed myself in, and what sort of weapons/stuff survived the jump with me. Pressure excites me, and certainly the pressure of finding myself surrounded by Germans would motivate me into getting my ass into gear. On the trek to my battalion, I'm assuming I'd meet some Germans-- and hopefully win. If not them, hopefully a few friends or at least people I vaguely know.

You're caught in heavy fire and you see a buddy take a hit a few feet away from you. Do you go and help him, or immediately dive for cover?:
Depends on how close this buddy an I were. If buddy is more like an aquaintance I probably would just dive for cover. If this buddy was like.... one of my be-all-end-all best friends, you bet your ass I'd be out there and saving him. If you're considered my friend, you don't have to worry about someone having your back, cos I'll be there.

Many of your fellow paratroopers take the opportunity to grab a few souvenirs whilst billeting in towns. What, if anything, do you take and why?:
Food, and books are about the only things I would think to take. I'd break anything of value, and I've got mostly everything I need. The idea of taking a Nazi flag vaguely disgusts me, only because I'm sure that I'd never want anything to do with those memories again, annnd I'm not very into taking people's things.

War is over. What are your plans for the future?:
I imagine I'd have trouble settling into civ street, if you know what I mean... but I wouldn't want to stay in the army. So I'd probably take up writing, journalism... something I can continue my self abusive streak with, and dabble in all the alcohol and books I nee

I'd say Webster, because you seem a bit of a bookworm/intellectual and you analyse situations pretty well (for the heavy fire and normandy bits). But the anti-social part doesn't really work with him.
